Anthony Stewart (anthonyjstewart) > 1st April 2009: London Eye

I know I have a series of these photos so you are getting to see what I consider the best ones.

Here you can see 3 of the capsules, each of which can hold about 20-30 people. It's a very graceful experience I have to say and as I have already mentioned well worth the money. It's an incredible feat of engineering which has spawned even bigger wheels in other parts of the world.

Another picture of the London Eye on full zoom. I love this close zoom of one of the capsules on the London eye. You can make out the peoples faces if you zoom into the picture.

The eye moves quite slowly and you get a 30 minute journey up to over 300 feet with magnificent views over London. Definitely worth the money.

You can see the London Eye in the distance courtesy of a mega zoom lens. I like this picture I have to say and next time I will take my lighter lens.

I have just sold the lens I used to take this picture as I was finding it was incredibly heavy and large. I still have a zoom lens but half the weight which really does make a difference when you are lugging your camera gear all over a big city.
